Separació de mots per al català basada en patrons de TeX. Aquest diccionari parteix bé les eles geminades, però la partició s'ha d'activar des de la pestanya Flux de text de la finestra de format del paràgraf. Si feu servir l'altre mètode, l'entrada del menú Eines/Llengua/Partició de mots, les eles geminades no queden ben partides.
Catalan hyphenation based on TeX patterns. This dictionary has support for the "ela geminada", but hyphenation has to be activated from the Text flow tab in the paragraph format window. If you use the other method, the Tools/Language/Hyphenation menu entry, the "ela geminada" is not properly hyphenated.

Les excepcions no funcionen
En el diccionari hi ha una sèrie de paraules escrites com a excepcions:
cu-rie cu-ries ... vos-al-tres whis-ky whis-kies
Això en el diccionari TeX original era:
\hyphenation{
cu-rie cu-ries gei-sha
...
}
Però el cas és que en l'OpenOffice la divisió d'aquestes paraules amb guionet no funciona correctament. Potser la sintaxi no és correcta. ¿Com s'haurien d'escriure?

You could possibly work around it by encoding the hyphenation dictionary as ISO8859-1 instead of UTF-8
