The eLAIX-Extension for OpenOffice.org Writer allows users to save their new or existing documents as ready to go ILIAS e-Learning Modules. These e-Learning Modules, created by eLAIX, just like any other, can be imported into ILIAS for further editing, because they are technically the same as the other online e-Learning Modules that have been created with the ILIAS-Editor.

Even if you do not intend to generate ILIAS learning moduls, eLAIX helps you in creating well formed text processing documents by offering about 40 toolbar buttons. Easily structure your document, set links to chapter, footnotes, use predefined paragraph styles and arrange graphics in an optimized manner.
