I am pleased to announce the release of Bookmarks Menu extension
1.0.0 for Apache OpenOffice 3.4, after an interval of 3 years.
This is brand-new release, it is completely rewritten in Python
and several improvements and new features are there. Therefore this extension requires Py-UNO binding installation.

This extension is installed as another package of Bookmarks Menu,
it does not remove older version of the package. You can try
new version without to influence your current bookmarks.
If you have older version installed, you can migrate bookmarks of it according to Migration.

This version does not work on OpenOffice.org 3.3 or earlier. And never tested on MacOS X.

The following problems are known on LibreOffice:

• Drag and drop movement do not work on the grid control.

Bug fixes:

• un-named submenu is added when canceled to add new submenu
• no macro entry is added first time before loading the library

• Removing separators bug fix.

• Could be installed as shared extension.
• ShellCommands module is stored under BookmarksMenu library. If you want to use older settings and ShellCommands module, try to converto them with convertor.
• Convertor for settings and ShellCommands module is avaiabled: bm_convertor.odt as the Writer document.

• Danish translation.
• German translation.
• Open a file without OpenOffice.org uses program manager of your envirionment.
• UI language bug fix.

New these kinds of menus can be used:

• "Open..." dialog with a specified directory.
• "Save As..." dialog with a specified directory.

They can be created using the wizard.

New entry wizard was added. It can be make easily new entry like below.

• Open a file with OpenOffice.org.
• Open a file with the program according to your desktop environment.
• Open a directory with your file manager.
• Execute a program.

Update:

• Needs OpenOffice.org 2.3 or later.
• Tree control was introduced for the menu tree model.
• "Add This Document" dialog displays sub-menu tree structure.
• Script selector is changed from Macro Organizer to Macro selector and the tree control was equiped.

Menus on the tree control can be moved by drag and drop them.

If you use OpenOffice.org 2.2, use 0.3.4.
