An English Personal and Surname spelling checker dictionary add-on for the US English dictionary. It has about 10,000 names derived largely from US census data, with additions from various public domain lists of names.

Only add this this add-on US English dictionary if you deal a lot with names, otherwise you will be annoyed by the number of names that appear in the suggested spelling lists when you do your spelling checks.

You cannot select add-on dictionaries on a per document basis, however you can disable/enable the dictionary via the Tools->Extension Manager (I think you need to restart OpenOffice for the change to take effect.)
