Writer2LaTeX provides Writer export filters for LaTeX and BibTeX.
This enables you to typeset your Writer documents with LaTeX, which does a better job typesetting text, in particular text with formulas.
Writer2LaTeX gives you extensive control over the export of formatting (using a configuration file). It can convert your document with as much formatting as possible preserved, or you can completely control the LaTeX code generated for each style in the source document – or even remove all formatting.

Version 0.4 of this extension is already included in some versions of OpenOffice.org (2.0.4-3.0). Install this version if you want to upgrade to the latest release.

Currently, the extension is available in Brazilian Portuguese, English, Czech, Danish, Dutch, German, French, Polish, Spanish, Italian, Turkish, Russian and Ukrainian. Thank you to the translators!
