Namaskar,
[1]
I am in a fix.
On installing the extension I get all words translated to devnagri.
How am I to write in English?
Ctrl + --> right arrow
or
Ctrl + <-- left arrow
does not solve my problem.

Kindly guide.

Is there similar function available when I write web pages on my web site?
That would be marvelous.

To convert back to english

To disable the transliteration, click the gX button on the toolbar and uncheck the tranlisteration enabled checkbox. You will be able to type in English now.

I hve to disable in ext. manager to revert back to English

Dear rkvsraman,

I have to go to Tools ----> Extension Manager ----> Disable to stop auto conversion.
Clicking on the Toolbar icon gives your details as in 'About'.
I conclude that for translations I have to use Extension Manager Enable - Disable Function to use this well meaning extension.

Setting dialogs not getting closed

Hii,
I have installed GXLiterate.oxt and restarted writer. Then some settings dialog get opened and it goes to other
screen, even if I am trying to close it, not getting closed. Also every time opening new writer, those many dialogs
getting opened on my desktop window.

About Setting Dialog

Do check if you are running GXLiterate on OpenOffice 3.0 or greater

First time you open writer after installation, it opens a dialog and

asks for some information related to proxy and your language.

If you do not use proxy uncheck "proxy required" checkbox.

Click on Save and Close.

Next time onwards no dialog box should be visible.

Dialog-Box issues

Hi,
Thanks a lot for reply..
I have been using OpenOffice 3.0.0 version, java version is 1.6.0.7.
I also removed extension and installed it again. But when I opens my
writer it opens many settings dialog boxes on my desktop screen and
those are not getting closed.

Dialog issue with Windows XP

Ooops.. It is a glitch on Windows XP. We had tested with Linux Systems and even with Windows Vista.

I will look into it.

Try on a Linux box if available for now.
