GnuCash to OOo

This is an OOo-macro that will read GnuCash output data and import it into OpenOffice.org's embedded database, so that thereafter you can evaluate them e.g. in OOo-Calc. A description on its use can be found on http://www.alice-dsl.net/gnuc2ooo/index.html.
Important notice: This macro will be outdated with the release of GnuCash 2.4, as it will then be possible to save your GnuCash data directly into one of the common SQL-databases. Ooo-base can then be used as frontend on that database. See www.gnucash.org for further information.

GnuCash is personal and small-business financial-accounting software, freely licensed under the GNU GPL and available for GNU/Linux, BSD, Solaris, Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows. The small-business part, however, is not supported by my macro.

Known issues
This extension can be installed normally in OpenOffice.org 2.x and 3.0.1 or later. Due to issue 95118 you cannot install it as an extension under Version 3.0.0, but will have to install the macro source file manually as described on http://www.alice-dsl.net/gnuc2ooo/gnuc2ooo_en/makrotext.html. Since Version 3.0.1. the normal installation via extension manager works again. (Happily, ubuntu went from 2.4.1 straight to 3.0.1 in one step, leaving out 3.0.0 entirely.) If you run 3.0.0 and have the possibility to update, you should do so. Much easier.
Mac OS X users, sorry. This extension consists of a python macro, and as long as issue 93084 is not fixed you will not be able to use it.
