IDesignSpec : The Fastest Path to Code from Spec.
IDesignSpec is an engineering application that transforms a functional specification of registers in a digital system into code. A hierarchical register specification can be transformed into VHDL, Verilog, C Headers, OVM, VMM, SystemRDL, IP-XACT, HTML, PDF, XML code.

This is a useful tool for IP developers, SoC integrators, FPGA and ASIC designers, Verification Engineers, Firmware, Device driver, Diagnostics, Lab debug and Application Software engineers.

VHDL, Verilog is generated for the AMBA-AHB bus.
C Headers can be used for C/C++ API, Firmware development.
OVM is used for Mentor Graphics/Cadence based functional verification of the registers. "regdef" files are generated.
VMM has been created by Synopsys, Register Abstraction Layer Format (RALF) files are generated
SystemRDL is a language that describes hardware registers developed by Denali and now standardized by the Spirt Consortium.
IP-XACT is an XML specification developed by the Spirit Consortium.
HTML and PDF are useful for distribution and sharing of the documentation.
XML is useful for further development of translators.

About the license:
IDesignSpec's OOo extension can be downloaded for free. With this extension you can create specifications that describe a digital system with all their registers. Consistency errors are pointed out in the editor itself and Address calculation is done automatically. You can also generate the PDF output.

To obtain a license key, install the plugin, in Writer go to menu IDesignSpec->Registration and send us the UUID at this email address trial@agnisys.us.
