Hi has anyone noticed the typo under the We need you section?

Bit confused

I've installed it successfully, closed OO completely, reopened it, and OO Impress looks exactly the same. I was under the impression there'd be more templates somwhere, but the "Master Pages" and the options for creating a new presentation are exactly the same. Under File > Templates, the number of templates available is the same. Does it have to be activated in some way? Or are they in another place?

If you downloaded Gallery it

If you downloaded Gallery it has effect only on gallery. It adds more insertable cliparts to Gallery part of OOo. If you want more templates please download Templates pack for your language from here:

I downloaded the extension

I downloaded the extension and tried to install.
There where no error messages, but the gallery was empty as before.
That happend on several computers in a class-room -
I have no idea why it worked on several computers and not on the others.

Did you try to restart OOo fully (exit all app and also from quickstarter)? What version og OOo do you have? Are you using original OOo or its derivate?

Is a restart necessary? - Do I have to close quickstarter before or after?

Works for me

In some cases (or all) it is necessary to restart OpenOffice.org to install Exension. You can install the extension then full restart OOo. Also you shoul install extension in shared mode. If you installs it this way the extension will be available for all users in the system. I tested it right now in Hungarian Windows XP with French OpenOffice.org. All things worked perfectly. SO I cannot confirm this bad behavior.

where is "Whats New"

Hi! I love OxygenOO! I'm really waiting for OOO with OO 3, but this extensions are great and a good start!
First: THANKS! and keep working
Second: What's the diferences between 2.4.0.4 and 2.6.0.2 ?? Is there any "whats new" to see what are the changes?
Third: When do you expect OxygenOpenOffice 3.0

We have fixed few issues,

We have fixed few issues, and enhanced the installer a bit. Currently only few cliparts added or will be added. We are looking for contibutor here, so If you want (or you know somebody who want) you can contact to me.

OxygenOffice is in the way. I hope I can release it before XMAS.

localization

Hi,
I have translated this extensionin in Italian (which means, I have translated only image categories). How can I cooperate with you in order to provide an updated Italian version of the gallery? Do you think it is a good idea to provide localized versions?

I am going to deploy this gallery, along with openoffice and other extensions, to several hundreds of clients in my workplace (composed mainly by italian-only speakers).

Thank you for your great offer. Currently we have Italian translator, but you can update our translations if you want. Sadly OpenOffice.org does not support to translate theme names in extension. Of course our OpenOffice.org derivate called OxygenOffice.org contains all translations internally for example for your beautiful language. I would like to ask you to help extend our support for Italian language with the update of translation, more Italian templates, etc.. Hi!

It is a good idea but currently OxygenOffice and OpenOffice.org do not support SVG files. I do not want to include it as PNG files. There is an ongoing enhancement where some developers improve SVG import filter I will check the current status and I will notify you about the progression.
