A macro package that adds superscript and subscript formatting to chemical formulas in OpenOffice.org Writer documents.  You type SO42- and the macro lowers the 4 and raises the 2−.  More information.

Must have for a chemistry student

I'm so used to having to manually go through a document and make the adjustments for subscripts and superscripts... and, only, later, to discover that I missed one or two of them. Never again! This is why oOO is good for (science) students, too :) Thanks!
